The Silence is Deafening

Why would my church be absolutely silence on the condition of our republic today.  Why would your church?  In fact it seems outside of a hand full of pastors that I could count on one hand the Christian churches silence is deafening.  Think about this for a minute, rising prices on everything that their congregation has to purchase, home values still falling, foreclosures still increasing, donations to the churches down what 20% many say 50%, but yet you can hear a pin drop on Sunday Services when it comes to discussing this topic. 

Government controlling more of everything, more laws, more police, higher fines, taxes, penalties, but yet nothing.  Everyday our Government is becoming more Roman and less of a Republic, however just the same bible teaching and communion as always.  You would think that many would be providing ministry training in the areas of survival skills such as purchasing dehydrated food, water, converting dollars to gold and silver, getting self defense measures in place, and turning the walls of its church into a fully stocked and prepared facility for when the time is needed.  That would be biblical sound doctrine right?

There is something very EVIL at work right now. Have our churches become slaves to our government being controlled by their tax free status.  Have our churches turned into the fourth branch of Government that our constitution never mandated?  Have the same contolling arm that now beams propoganda into your home daily through “News and Newspapers” taken over our Pastors?  I want to look at scripture on some of the points I just raised.

I am afraid we are in danger of being charged with rioting by the Roman government, since there is no cause for all this commotion. And if Rome demands an explanation, we won’t know what to say. Acts 19:40

For we have found him to be a troublemaker, a man who is constantly inciting the Jews throughout the world to riots and rebellions against the Roman government. He is a ringleader of the sect known as the Nazarenes Acts 24:5

Three days after Paul’s arrival, he called together the local Jewish leaders. He said to them, “Brothers, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Roman government, even though I had done nothing against our people or the customs of our ancestors. Acts 28:7

Use of  Gold and Silver

King Hezekiah sent this message to the king of Assyria at Lachish: “I have done wrong. I will pay whatever tribute money you demand if you will only go away.” The king of Assyria then demanded a settlement of more than eleven tons of silver and about one ton of gold. 2kings 18:14

She bought great quantities of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple dye, silk, scarlet cloth, every kind of perfumed wood, ivory goods, objects made of expensive wood, bronze, iron, and marble. REV 18:12

And the LORD has blessed my master richly; he has become a great man. The LORD has given him flocks of sheep and herds of cattle, a fortune in silver and gold, and many servants and camels and donkeys. Gen 24:35

Here is a list of items you may accept on my behalf: gold, silver, and bronze; EXD 25:3

He will gain control over the gold, silver, and treasures of Egypt, and the Libyans and Ethiopians will be his servants. Dan 11:43

Liberty:  AKA free people whom the government fears

You can be sure that evil people will be punished, but the children of the godly will go free. Pro 11:21

I will raise up Cyrus to fulfill my righteous purpose, and I will guide all his actions. He will restore my city and free my captive people–and not for a reward! I, the LORD Almighty, have spoken!” Ish 45:13

That is why he is the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, so that all who are invited can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant. Hbr 9:15

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior Phl 3:20

The Churches need to begin to discuss what I am sharing, however I have no power to make that happen, only God does.  So today I pray to God, that if it is his will to open the eyes of our pastors and church leaders that today be that day. Amen
