Inspiration

Today I can feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. I can sense with my discernment and wisdom that America is about to see a collapse that will make the fall of Rome look like an ankle sprain.

So I need to look at scripture and inspiration to remind myself to stay in the spirit.

From Scripture:

Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be the slave of all.  For even I, the son of man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:42-45

You are not defiled by what you eat; you are defiled by what you say and do! Mark 7:14

We should please others. If we do what helps them, we will build them up in the Lord. Romans 15:2

The most important commandment is this: Hear, the Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important; love your neighbor as yourself.  No other commandment is greater than these.  Mark 12: 29:31

Abba, Father, he said, everything is possible for you, Please take this cup of suffering away from me, Yet I want your will, not mine. Mark 14:36

So since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does this mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that whatever you choose to obey becomes your master? You can choose sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God and receive his approval.  Romans 6:15-16

Christ is the mighty power of God and the wonderful wisdom of God.  This “foolish” plan of God is far wiser than the wisest of human plans. and God’s weakness if far stronger than the greatest of human strength. 1 Corinthians 1:24:25

From Man

Be just, and fear not.
Let all the ends thou aim’st at be thy country’s,
Thy God’s and truth’s.

William Shakespeare

Never let life’s hardships disturb you … no one can avoid problems, not even saints or sages.
Nichiren Daishonen

Ask yourself this question:
“Will this matter a year from now?”
Richard Carlsonwriting in Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

Leadership: The art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it.
Dwight D. Eisenhower

There go the people.
I must follow them for I am their leader.

Alexandre Ledru-Rollin

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
Helen Keller

Today has 14 hours left, I am going to try to make it the best, ask God for direction, and be the spiritual person I can.  How about you?

God Bless
