Liberty

Hi this is Chris Mosser reporting for faithandsurvival.com.  Today I am coming to you from the beautiful state of California on the shores of Lake Don Pedro.  I wanted to talk with you today about one topic, and that topic is Liberty.

What is Liberty?

What is not Liberty?

I find myself getting into this conversation often with others on faithandsurvival and I do not think we are all on the same page.

What is Liberty?

Liberty is a lifestyle.  Liberty is a frame of mind. Liberty is a word on a coin. Liberty is a dream.  Liberty is a goal. Liberty is a word used to describe someone’s values.  Liberty is a bell used during the revolutionary war that has a crack on it in display in Philadelphia.

I would like to believe this video you are watching shows and displays liberty.  Physically you see the scenic hills, the man made earthen dam, the roadway improvements on top.  The video camera technology that is taping this video shows you liberty.

Emotionally I can feel the majesty of the freedom that comes from being able to travel without restrictions to this location and take in the hills, the water, the expanse of the geography, the beauty that is America.

Liberty is also spiritual, I can freely raise my hand in public and worship my God, I can pray and seek his guidance and wisdom, which provides me hope.

Liberty for me is a lifestyle and a God granted right that I can live a life of freedom, and pursue happiness in how best I see fit on a daily basis.

Liberty means:

• a life free of shackles
• a life free of bureaucracy
• a life free of economic enslavement
• a life free of over taxation and burdens
• a life where I am innocent of any crime unless proven guilty in a court by a jury of my peers, not hand selected government jurors
• a life where I can travel freely by car, train, plane or ship without checkpoints, searches, and a need to produce papers
• a life in which if leaders need to be selected, that I have a equal say on whom they will be, all of them.

Liberty should not ever be surrendered, it should not be forfeited!

I believe next to my relationship with God that Liberty is the most important value and belief that I have.

Our country is at war with itself.  This war is being fought minute by minute on newspapers, the Internet, in airports, in the courts, at our work place, and in the halls of congress. This war is Liberty versus Economic Enslavement!

This war is one that is happening in every country today, and right now I fear Liberty is Losing.

Rest assured, I will never stop fighting, reporting, printing, and preparing to help liberty make a grand return.
