Why is it possible for some to see things in a way others can not? How is it that certain people can sense good or evil, or for the very few, both. Maybe I should ask these questions in a different way. Why do people not see what is happening right in front of their eyes? Why is it that people are allowing evil to grow where they live. Why do people put faith in government, and believe they are working for their good?
Can anyone argue that the Federal governement is shrinking in size? Can anyone put out a plausible debate that government should take over the landscape of entire cities, and all of their newspapers. I will give you a chance by sharing with you my expereice in Susanville California.
This is what Wikipedia provides as an overview for describing Susanville.
Susanville (formerly, Rooptown) is the county seat of Lassen County, California, United States. Susanville is located on the Susan River in southern part of the county, at an elevation of 4186 feet (1276 m). The population was 17,974 at the 2010 census, up from 13,541 at the 2000 census. Susanville, a former logging and mining town, is the site of the High Desert State Prison, California (not to be confused with High Desert State Prison, Nevada) and California Correctional Center. High Desert State Prison, a maximum-security facility, opened in 1995; the California Correctional Center, a minimum-medium security facility, opened in 1963. The prisons and their effects on the community were featured on the PBS documentary, Prison Town, USA.P.O.V.
As I drove into the city it felt like small town America to me, in fact I was taken back to my hometown of Fremont Ohio. There was one main street that had two grocery stores, several real estate shops, a Starbucks, and many hardware and sporting goods stores. It had one high school, a cemetery, several churches, as well as many empty building with for sale signs. The residential area was well, tough and poor looking. Some areas had decent housing but the vast majority was trailers, manufactured homes, and very run down single family homes, with several apartment complexes. I noticed two large factories that were completely gutted out, and boarded up.
I attended two AA meetings in the town during my trip. They were the same type of people that sit with me every-week in meetings back in Pleasanton. I shopped at Safeway, got coffee, and talked with many people. I felt everyone was honest, genuine, and today living a very very hard economic life.
In plain site was the virus killing this town, and they were unable or unwilling to see it, or stop it. Several were working for the virus, and wanted the virus to grow. Trust me this virus was growing,
What was this sickness? The Federalization of the town.
First is the Hall of Justice. This building is well over 150,000SF of federal power, smack in the middle of town, in fact it is obvious that on the 10 acre parcel it is sitting on, that other businesses had to be moved, (AKA evicted) and leveled. This roman architecture style building meant to do nothing more than intimidate and put fear in the hearts of the citizens had to cost at least 10 million dollars to construct, not to mention thousands monthly to maintain it, heat it, and provide a working environment for hundreds of FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WORKERS!
Why would you need such a huge “hall of justice” in a city of 16,000 people you might be asking, is their enough crime in this town to support this. Of course not but remember that little description of the town above, “home of the high desert state prison and the correctional center”. Yes that is right more Government right in the middle of the town, (actually right on the outskirts), two HUGE prisons, adding to the PRISON STATE of America formally known as the United States of America. How could you have a prison population of thousands without a MASSIVE court house to feed people into them.
But the court house only begins the onslaught of smaller police and supporting facilities I ran across as I traveled the town. Their was the 15,000 SF Juvenile Correction Center, the sheriff’s department, the city police department, and a dozen other county and state buildings that clearly derived their business from the federal police state.
But wait, let me present to you the Forest Headquarters building. This monster was at least 50,000 square feet of what had to be fairly recent construction, but the beauty of this GOVERNMENT monster was the truck yard on the side. I would estimate at least 50 trucks of various size the majority four wheel drive Ford F250 crew cabs that were all 2005 or newer, that run at least $30,000 each. $1,500,000 worth of trucks to drive around our forests and do what? Spend time putting up smokey bear signs, and harassing the public by ensuring they have permits, licenses and other government red tape meant to do nothing but grow this bureaucracy. But I am not done. because right down the road was the ”Bureau of Land Management” Field office. I would guess another 40,000 square foot building designed to do what, you guessed it insert rules, regulations, and problems into the people whom live out here that I guess just want to farm their lands and be left alone.
Now remember, this is a town of 16,000 people!
But the federalization of the town continues in the form of “honoring the troops”. I have pictured what is on EVERY street light pole in that runs along main street. A banner stating:
In honor and support of the family of XXXXXXXXXXXXX in the (Army, Air force, or Navy). It then has a picture of the person enlisted in the military. Gosh this seems good on the surface right, why not honor our children serving our country. BUT WHAT ARE THEY SERVING? Our military is no longer the American military, heck just watch commercials for the Navy today, they quote “A Global force for world good”. What are our troops doing today?
- Growing, and distributing poppy in Afghanistan, fueling the worlds heroin addiction.
- Destroying the country of Libya
- Using Depleted Uranium as a weapon
- Using Drones to kill thousands of civilians in Pakistan
- Destroyed Iraq, with nothing to show for it
- Sitting in hundreds of bases in foreign countries around the world waiting for?
But worse is that if these men and woman make it home alive, it won’t be long before those same photos will be transfered to Homeland Security where they will be classified as HOMEGROWN TERRORISTS!!! I am sure you have read the reports from DHS that discuss retuning veterans as threats to our national security.
Here is small town America. The factories are empty, the only jobs available are government jobs and the few retail jobs that support them. The homes are basically run down shacks, and they desperately want to feel patriotic in what they are doing by placing pictures of their sons and daughters on lamp poles.
Now if you really want to read the enslavement to federal, state and local government lives, grab the local paper called the “Lassen Times”. I would estimate in the 16 pages that 80% of the stories are all focused on GOVERNMENT with at least 90% of the ads political ads for people wanting to get voted INTO GOVERNMENT.
My heart bleeds for our country. I wanted to just stand on a street corner and start yelling at the top of my lungs on the truth that their city has turned into a police state, and that it is only going to get MUCH MUCH WORSE.
Today do you live in a city where this change is happening? Do you live in a city that continually tries to “support the troops”, but never really talks about what is they are supporting? I am sure this story has brought much emotion out in you, let me hear it in the comment section.
